This full day workshop will run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on March 15th. and will take place at 1290 Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield. A lunch break will be given. This workshop is provided by the Art For Healing program of the Integrative Medicine Department of Hartford Hospital and is available to cancer survivors, thrivers, caretakers and family/friends of cancer patients.

Two guided meditations are part of this day.  There will be plenty of time devoted to making cards in response to the meditations as well as to build your deck. Lisa Huppert will be available throughout the workshop for help in processing cards and organizing your deck. Time will be set aside at the end of the workshop for a group reading and sharing of cards. Come experience a fun and creative time! All materials will be provided, and you will have access to a large library of hundreds of images. Come create and process SoulCollage® cards in a safe and caring environment.

SoulCollage® is a unique, simple and fun tool that helps you tap into your Creativity and Intuition, and requires no skill in art. You will make one or more “cards” - 5” x 8” pieces of art made from images you are drawn to, which grab hold of you and offer an array of feelings. As creative beings, we are drawn to images that speak to us, fill a need, give us joy, and feed our souls. Your pieces of art become a part of the story of YOU!

Cost for the workshop is $20. Payment can be taken through the website using PayPal, or through Venmo (@serenitygrovecenter), or you can call 866-528-4355 to pay using a credit card. You can also pay cash at the door. Please note that when choosing to pay through Venmo, with a credit card, or cash - the cost will say $0. This is only for the purposes of “checking out” so that you can register for the retreat. You will need to pay the $20 using Venmo, cash, or by credit card over the phone.
